Ardor’s hybrid battery-and-solar plant clears more than 80 000 € within weeks of going live

When pellet producer Ardor switched on its new one-container battery in early February, just days after Estonia left the IPS/UPS grid, the first aim was simply to keep factory operations stable through a turbulent period for the Baltic power system. Since then, the company’s on-site solar park and storage unit have already earned well over 80 000 € in market revenue by combining frequency-restoration services for Elering with carefully timed charge–discharge cycles on Nord Pool.
